What’s the best website to go to get a FREE credit report without the hassles?

Monday, November 30th, 2009

No BS about entering a credit card so you will have to deal with them trying to charge you for other crap. I just want my free report.

www.annualcreditreport.com. You get all three of your credit reports, no charge.

how do i go about getting a mortgage with scores of 658 and 582?

Monday, November 30th, 2009

658 is transunion, 582 equifax… experian is not known.

I am disputing 2 things on my reports as they are fraud and i recently opened a secured visa account that reports to all agencies.

What’s next? wait it out a few months or go after a mortgage now? i know the program (tax credit) ends in May so i need to do whatever i am going to do prior to that as i would be a first time buyer.

is it possible to get FHA with those scores? who do i contact now? any other sound advice?
one more thing… i only make 31,500 per year, how much would i qualify for? 60K is fine around this area as there are A LOT of empty houses in my area.
My Experian "VANTAGE SCORE" is currently 618…

i expect my scores to go up a little in the next 3 or 4 months as i am working to improve these by establishing credit (secure card) and have disputed 2 things that are absolutely not mine on the reports (phone company frauds)

Talk to a mortgage broker for information on what you can qualify for if anything. If you can’t qualify now they will be able to tell you what steps are needed to improve your credit scores.

What is the best, safest and free registry cleaner for windows vista?

What is the best, safest and free Registry Cleaner for windows vista?

If you want free, then CCleaner or GlaryUtilities will be perfect for you - these are free tools and you can get them from Google. However, I must warn you that they aren’t very good.

I made this video to show how bad these cleaners are: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEuJTyG5yWo

It’s a myth that these cleaners work well. They might be free, but they are for a reason - they only find 50-100 errors MAX. However, if you invest like $30 in the likes of RegCure or something, you’ll be able to clean out 300-500 issues. It’s all aobut what you want the tool for and how effective it needs to be. What is happening with voting % and tu’s and td’s on Yahoo Answers?

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Has some one discovered how to hack into and take control. The problem only seems to affect certain questions or categories while others seem alright.

Refreshing just makes things more rediculous.

If it’s a glitch then isn’t it time it was fixed, it’s been going on for ages.

Yahoo are "fixing " things ~which appears to throw unrelated glitches up.
eg~i am a member of the Tie busters group
we vote on undecided and or tied questions ~so that the points are awarded to the best answerer (they deserve the points if they tried to assist the questioner by answering)
we vote and find that each of say 5 answer’s as say 50% of the votes
then things clear up for awhile~it seems to be less frequent over the last few days
there is more info on
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Yah00AnswersTieBusters/
all are welcome to join~any age any level

hope this helps
have a nice day
please help ~bust some ties
there are over 5 000 000 . 0 (yes 5 million) tied ad undecided questions on this site~Buzz the founder of tie breakers informed us yesterday we have now taken 250 0000(¼ million questions out of voting ~that is an unexpected BONUS of at least 2 500 000 . 0 points (yes 2½ million )awarded to people (some from 2 year old questions)

How registry cleaner helpful for me?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I have a knowledge of how to delete uninstalled programs’ registry from msconfig, the same thing registry cleaner do. Is registry cleaner beneficial for me or not. Please suggest.

A registry cleaner is a type of software utility designed for the Microsoft Windows operating system whose purpose is to remove redundant or unwanted items from the Windows registry. However the necessity and usefulness of Registry Cleaners is a controversial topic, with experts not agreeing on their benefit. The problem is further clouded by the fact that malware and scareware is often associated with utilities of this type.

List Building Overview

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

For any Internet marketer who is hoping to be successful in their online ventures, having a list of interested subscribers is an invaluable asset. The operative word here is “interested” - the more interested they are, the easier they will be to sell to. Collecting subscribers to this list is the daily pursuit of many IM persons, and ways and means to do this have been the subject of many an ebook or instructional video.

And once a list of a few subscribers have been collected, the direct marketing campaign can kick off. List building is one of the key marketing concepts nowadays - it’s now right up there with traffic generation. Of course, you can’t have one without the other, right? You can have your opt-in box on your homepage and your email campaign ready to roll, but if you’re not getting folks to visit your website, how are they ever going to join your list? And lots of traffic is fantastic, but if there’s no option for the visitors to opt in to your list, it’s an opportunity missed. A website visitor may make a purchase from the products available but in many cases, the real gold is in customer retention and future repeat sales.

The Internet marketing industry seems to be now at the stage where the threat of spam has largely abated, through better filtering by email providers, and identification and outlawing of offenders. Control of spam (and the readily available unsubscribe option for lists) has helped to enhance email’s image as a marketing tool, as companies and individuals strive to be more customer-aware and focused in their marketing efforts. By and large, the IM community is united in opposition to all forms of unsolicited mail.

Methods for attracting potential customers to an opt-in list are many and varied, but usually involve the offer of a free information product or a free subscription to a weekly newsletter. Or it could be a paid subscription which is offered free for a month, or a time-delimited software package. The tools required to code the opt-in list are readily available and the online marketing community is getting busy with lead gathering. Whole marketing campaigns can be built around this list, and extra information can be discreetly gathered at sign-up time, to allow for preferences to be catered for. This is possible because in addition to the usual “name” and “email address” fields which are presented to the user, extra fields can be added which help to refine the user’s needs and wishes.

The demand for list-building tools and resources is gaining momentum constantly. This is evident by the huge volume tutorial material now available and the ease with which tutorial videos can be uploaded. Of course the bottom line will always be in firstly, getting customers to visit, and then to make that commitment and sign up. “If you build it, they will come” rings hollow in cyberspace. First you’ve got to build it, then get them to come, and most importantly, get them on that list.

What is hacking? If someone tries to access your email unsuccesfully is it still hacking?

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

Hacking is defined as penetrating in someone’s network or computer system. If someone makes an unsuccessful attempt to gain access into your email account without getting access is it still called hacking? Normally after three unsuccessful attempts the email is temporarily blocked.

i cant belive how misleading concepts peoples can have!!
Hacking is no where close to what most peoples have posted here.Rectifying your sentence
"Hacking is defined as penetrating in someone’s network or computer system to patch up the security hole".

How You Can Take Control Of Your Inbox

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

As you navigate the ins and outs of your Inbox, unsolicited emails and irritating viruses disguised as attachments may plague your Internet correspondences. To ensure the safety of emails you receive, as well as make sure your Inbox doesn’t become a cluttered mess, a few suggestions on how to make life much easier can be found below:

Inbox Protection

To avoid an accumulation of unwanted emails, spam protection is a common way to reduce the amount of irritating solicitations you receive. Some mail systems allow users to identify spam that has infiltrated their Inbox, making sure specific email addresses don’t pass through in the future. Other systems simply filter incoming mail and deposit them in a Bulk folder for later sorting. Today, Bulk folders can fill with close to 1,000 unwanted messages in one day. Also, if you are prone to receiving malicious links or images, some systems allow image blocking for further protection.

How to Sort Emails

Sometimes, users need to find specific correspondences that could have occurred months ago. Instead of scanning page after page of emails they have already read, sorting emails through specific term searches is a great way to save time and energy. For example, in Yahoo Mail, enter the word “dogs” as a search term and any email in your Inbox containing the word or a form of the word will appear. The same works when entering first and last names of senders.

How to Easily Sift Through Unread Emails

As you receive emails throughout the month, they can pile up. While some may take first priority in reading, others can wait until later, sometimes sitting in the Inbox for quite a long time before they are eventually forgotten. To keep up with Unread messages, you can easily find them all by filtering out all of the items you have already read. Most email systems provide this option and once clicked, all Unread emails appear in order for you to view or delete.

Inbox Management

Besides controlling what comes in, you may also customize numerous details regarding your Inbox. Many email systems allow their users to choose a color scheme for their Inbox. You may add Vacation responses that instantly alert those who send an email that you are away. Address books can be created, which makes responding to Inbox messages much easier. Shortcuts and nicknames for senders also make navigating your Inbox easier as you are better able to locate personal contacts.
